I'm frustrated and venting even though I know none of you GAF

The month we got pregnant with DD we didn't try! We did it ONCE that entire month and got a BFP. Now, when I'm actually trying... nada. If I see one more BFP (that's not mine) I'm going to scream.

Our DD was unplanned also. And because of my crappy body, we've decided to not have any more kids. Every time I see a BFP post, either here or FB, I want to scream and cry too. Lame-o

I'm sorry, that can be really frustrating. Can you see your PCP to maybe get some things ruled out? Sorry you are going through this!

I remember feeling that way (and still do now, but I'm not trying.) when I was trying to get pregnant with Tim. So many people were getting pregnant, ones who didn't even want to be pregnant or they just did it so effortlessly. It's like a slap in the face every time you find out someone else is pregnant. With Nick, I never would have dreamed of getting pregnant again so easily, so I never did anything to prevent it especially because I still hadn't gotten my period back and was to still bf.

But I hope you get your BFP soon!

You really need to settle your ass down.

I replied to one of your threads on TTGP, explaining that it is perfectly normal for a healthy couple to take up to a year to conceive. Everyone who is "trying" would like it to happen right away, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

I think the fact that you were posting intros on BMBs before you even got to test last cycle, was completely ridiculous.

You need to seriously up the patience, and simmer down with the dramatics.

Yeah it sucks...yeah it's frustrating...but you've put in what one cycle? look at it this way, it could always be worse...try 10 plus cycles, the inability to even try again, or throw a loss or two in there...that's when it's really frustrating...

Sit back and enjoy the ride...

I didn't get my bfp this month either...so here's to another 40 plus day cycle and a whole lot of fun...

Seriously? You have gone ONE cycle!

We got pregnant trying for DS after one cycle. We were lucky. We are now on our FOURTH cycle. Yes, it is frustrating, but it happens. We know we are obviously able to get pregnant and I am able to carry a baby, but YOUR BODY CHANGES AFTER HAVING A BABY. I knew my hormones were all out of whack after breastfeeding and pregnancy. My cycle used to be to the day regular from the day that I started. Now my cycles are all over the freaking place.

You realize there are people who have been trying for more than one cycle????? A couple I know is on their ELEVENTH cycle. Another couple I know has been trying for more than FOUR YEARS!!!!, and have gone to see multiple fertility doctors, gone through tons of tests, have had a lot of treatments, and HAVE LOST 4 BABIES.

Calm down. THIS IS YOUR FREAKING SECOND CYCLE!!! Be glad you have been blessed with a healthy DD. Just give it time. Stay positive. HAVE FUN WITH THE PROCESS OF HAVING A BABY.

First, I really do hope you get your BFP. I know the waiting for it is basically the worst, and I genuinely do hope you get yours soon.

But here's the thing: I am also genuinely happy when any of these women who are TTGP gets a BFP. Does it sting a little that it isn't me? Absolutely, I would be lying if I said it didn't. But there are so many women who have been trying for so long, some with a history of suffering through losses, that it seems awful to say that you don't want to see anyone's BFP but your own.

I didn't read all of the comments, but from what I have read, I agree with a lot that was said, and you do need to relax. It sucks waiting. Succckkkkkssssssss. Believe me. 17 months TTC for DS, diagnosed unexplained infertility, and got pregnant au natural the month we were waiting to start IUI preparations. And you know what else sucks, I got pregnant in cycle 2 of TTC this time, and miscarried a week later. Succcccckkkkkkkkkkkssssss doesn't even begin to explain it. But understand, stress can hinder the process, I believe it. I know many woman who got KU after they stopped trying so hard. Relax, it's early. I'll try to follow my own advice-- which is extremely difficult to do at this point. Yay cycle 2+2=4 (here's hoping for < 17 this time). GL.

although I have been trying for 11 months. I just read through the posts and see that you have only been trying for 1 month. I am happy for those who get pregnant but feel sadness for myself at the same time. It does hurt to see BFP posts right now but I have been through a lot in the past 5 months. It doesn't mean I am not happy for them.

Lauren79, I will be ecstatic for you when you get your sticky baby!!! As you mentioned just b/c I said I want to scream does NOT mean I'm not happy for others!!! Just concurrently disappointed for myself. The two feelings are not mutually exclusive. I look forward to seeing a BFP from you, good luck. :

Try 4 years with no success... Then you will understand frustrating!! Then have to have IVF.. But now I'm thankful for my one little miracle!! Be grateful for what you have!
