Has anyone experienced this? It's so amazing. When he's around and talking to the belly, she throws a major party; she doesn't move like that any other time. I don't remember DS being that way in the tummy...
My LO is the exact opposite. I think he is fascinated with my husband! Every time DH talkes to him he sits perfectly still and listens...it's crazy! He is such a wiggly baby, but something about Daddy makes him completely still. We're hoping he still has "the touch" after he's born haha.
Same here. She'll be moving like crazy till my DH comes over to feel, or comes to talk to her. Then she stops. It took forever for him to get to feel her moving b/c of this.
Our little guy likes to kick when Daddy touches my belly. It's so cute to see my H light up. I had always heard from friends/family that they typically experienced the opposite, so I told H to be prepared and not to get disappointed if it happened. But it's almost like Daddy's hand is the major "ON" switch for this guy. I love it!
Mine's pretty active throughout the day but nothing like when DH is talking to him. I think he starts showing off how strong he is and how much he can move. If he starts to settle down and DH moves his hand or face away I think LO gets offended because then he'll start bouncing and squirming more than ever to get daddy back. It's SO cute!

I have the same problem! I feel like LO is beating me up so bad that sometimes I'll take DH's hand and put it on my belly just to make the baby stop!
I read somewhere that it is easier for babies in utero to hear low voices (like dad) rather than higher voices. Not sure if that's true, but I wonder if that's your LO is sometimes more responsive to dad?
We've been playing music for LO...sometimes it seems like she stops to listen, then moves around after the music is done. Except for Beethoven...she seemed to be moving in time to the 7th symphony the whole time (which has lots of low-register drum movements, etc.).
Every time my DH tries to feel her move she stops. I think it's hilarious.
me too! He's always teases that I'm just crazy when I say how much she ismoving. The SECOND i put his hand wherever she was just kicking she STOPS and won't start up again until he gives up. haha.
Thats how my LO is too. She gets super active when he is around talking to her or rubbing my belly. It is so funny. Sometimes in the middle of the night he will roll over to rub my belly and I say "don't you dare wake her up!" haha

seems like the only time mine moves is when daddy's around.he hears his voice and he goes nuts. he moves a bit for me but when daddy touches my stomach or talks to him, look out!
I fell at the mall the other day on the escalator and I didn't feel baby for a couple hours and so I thought we were going to L&D to make sure she was ok well as soon as daddy put his hands on my belly and goes "please start kicking I really don't want to go to L&D tonight" and started rubbing, she started kicking and twisting away. She just needed her daddy.
I still tease him she's a daddy's girl and she's not even here yet!!!

Our baby is super responsive to daddy as well. I feel like the hubs is able to bond a little more knowing that babe is so responsive to his big voice.
That's the general norm for us tho, babe is already the center of attention... when there is a lot of conversation, it's pretty active
I actually just saw something about how they respond to daddy's voice more (usually) b/c of the low voice and how it travels through water.
My LO usually moves around like crazy and then freezes when DH talks to or touches my belly. Weird.
