So I'm being induced Friday at 9 am, but was wondering if any of you ladies know how many hours before hand do you usually have to arrive at hospital? I have yet to find that out, just curious and anxious. Thanks in advance for your kind comments!
I would think they would want you to have enough time to get set up and registered and all that fun stuff. You could always call your doctor or the hospital and see what they think.
Will likely depend on the process your OB decides to use. If they are using cervidil or cytotec, they'll likely want you there the night before in the late evening. If they're just starting with Pitocin, you may only need to show up the morning of. I was induced with LO #2 and had to be there at 9pm the night before because it started with cervidil and then my body took over and I never needed another one or pitocin started. WIth this one, if I opt for an induction, she'll just have me come in the morning of and we'll start with pitocin because I'm already 3 cm and soft. If they're saying Friday 9am, that leaves me with the impression that you show up on Friday at 9am

Good luck to you!
This. FWIW, I was told by 6:30 I got there right at 6:30 and they started Pit at 7:35.
