Just ran out of work to Rite Aid for some prep H...I have some at home, but I've never had it this bad at work! UGH...ready to be done!

    I don't have them but my BF does.He usually uses the Prep H and it wasn't really helping. I did some reading on ways to treat them and I suggested he try plain witchhazel. We bought some for around $3 @ the drug store a few nights ago and he said it has really helped with the swelling and pain. Maybe it would help you ladies. Hope you feel better soon. :)

    Try witch hazel or tucks pads.  My doctor said no to prep H because it can raise blood pressure. I saturated cotton balls with cold witch hazel and let them sit right on the hemerroid for 20 minutes and switched them out.  Kind of gross, but it helped.  But if your doctor gave you the OK for the prep H, good luck!
