getting nervous

in December 2012 Moms
This weekend is my last weekend as a carefree wife..I will then be a mother. I am so scared! I am having anxiety about how my life is going to change and fitting in my husband and giving everyone love that they deserve. I am scared that I won't be able to balance life and being a mother. What if I can't do it? I'm feeling very emotional today and it's tough at night.

    I have felt like this for a while also. I am a first time Mom and everything could change by the start of one contraction! If you have ever seen Armageddon and they are about to go into space and one of the people said, I cant tell if I am 99% excited and 1% scared, or 99% scared, 1% excited. Ha. Thats how I have felt and from what you said how you feel as well! Very excited but nervous. I have thought too about "what if I cant do it" about labor and everything being too overwhelming but then I see a mini sock or a newborn diaper or a little onsie and realize that everything will be not only okay, but VERY well worth it once your baby is in your arms.

    Please be open and honest about all of your emotions with your doctor.  What you're feeling is probably pretty normal, but your intensity over your nerves and anxiety again and again and again has me a little concerned for you.  Just be open and honest.  Everything is going to be fine.  Take care of yourself.
