Really Mom?

Ok I rarely vent about my mom but......

I got a mysterious package from Pottery Barn today and it turned out DH special ordered us three stockings with our names on them. I thought it was the sweetest thing ever.  My mom was over at the time and ya know what she said??

" Umm he didn't get one for the dog."

    When I was reading your post I thought she was going to say that he didn't get one for HER. Hehe. Something my MIL would say. Haha

    How nice of your H to do that! That is very sweet.

    Your mom's comment is weird to me. I wouldn't think to get a stocking for a pet.

    Funny thing, I ordered stockings from Pottery Barn and they arrived yesterday as well...I did order one for the dog...:)  and only because I knew DH wouldve been upset if I didnt include him.

     

    My DH came home today and bought each of us ornaments and also 1 for the dog.

    Well...just to clarify, lol, we do have a stocking for our dog...just not a personalized one.
    I thought it was hilarious that my mom made that comment!

    We also just got our pottery barn stocking for DS! We had one for ourselves from before but ordered a personalized for DS this year! So fun!
