Hi all,
We're looking for a car seat that will live at Grandma's in Florida, for us to use when we visit each winter. Our daughter is now 7 months old, so we envision trying to get as many years of occasioinal use out of this thing as possible (so we're interested in getting something with the highest weight limit possible).
I've read about the Cosco Scenera, which is often recommended as an inexpensive occasional use seat - we're willing to spring for something a little more expensive, but don't want to get up into Britax/Recaro/Peg Perego land.
So basically, what's the best and safest $150ish dollar seat we can get? Do you think we need to spend more than that to feel confident we're putting her in a very, very safe seat?
