So I kind of hate the ladies on my BMB so I figured I'd share this here. I have my first u/s tomorrow & DH has insisted that we bring Em with us. I'm torn. I'm afraid she'll run amok & we won't get the full experience. I'm afraid that if there is something wrong, DH & I won't be able to fully comprehend the details because of her. That being said, if there is something wrong, she'll be there to snuggle with and help us deal.
I also have a very real and probably highly irrational fear that there is more than one baby in there.
Re: First u/s tomorrow
I don't think I ever noticed this before, but it says you're from Allentown PA? I am too!!! If you're comfortable, send me a PM about where you live or where you get prenatal care. I'd love to chat!
About your u/s -- I probably wouldn't want to bring my child if I had any other option. I'd want to be able to focus and relax. GL with your scan and hope everything is ok.

Or I would just not bring her at all, bring her a ITS A BOY or ITS A GIRL balloon, tell her it's from her brother or sister so she could be part of the fun, and just give her the balloon. She would have more fun with the balloon then being in a tech office listening to people talk and seeing the screen.
Good luck! Keep us posted :-)
I do not plan on bringing P to my first u/s. I just would not be able to relax.
He had just turned a year at the AS and he was such a mess. He didn't want to sit still, I was distracted because he kept reaching for me, and I feel like DH didn't get to enjoy any of it because he was trying to entertain him.
No more ultrasounds for him!
Is it bad that I can't remember if I brought L with me to my first u/s? I can't even remember if MH was there
I do remember that we brought L with us to the a/s. (I better remember that, it was only a month ago haha) She was pretty well behaved during most of it, but ironically, when they told us we were having another girl, she started crying lol.
Regardless of whether you bring Em with you or not, GL and I hope everything looks good :-)
Good luck!!!
I brought my DD to my 1st ultrasound, but she was less than 6 months old at the time, so I think that's a little different.
Also, I was so afraid that I was having twins the 2nd time around. I have no idea, but I was convinced. Obviously no twins here.
And good thing too because The Lord knows I couldn't have handled it.
