Things you forgot to do before baby?

We're just about to finish our to do list before the new baby comes, and I'm thinking I'm forgetting something, but I can't remember what, lol.  Darn pregnancy brain.  :)

Anyway, was there anything you forgot to do or take care of before your baby came that you wished you had done?

    I can't think of anything I forgot to do with the last one. I went pretty nuts on my house.

    Give the fridge a good clean out. Replace your batteries in the smoke detectors if they need it. Have the inside of the car detailed.

    I forgot the bath tub.  I had everything ready and dug out of the attic until his umbilical cord fell off and I realized I completely forgot to bring the bath tub down.  Luckily it was an easy fix.

    Freezer meals, finish shopping for LO, pay our taxes, keep up on laundry, get some decent movies in the house for when you're pinned down cluster feeding (assuming you're nursing...ignore otherwise).

    I don't think I forgot anything, but the things I'm really glad that I did do was make freezer meals, have easy breakfasts and snacks in the pantry/fridge, have a separate changing station set up in our bedroom for late night diaper changes, hang battery operated night lights above the changing table and beside my bed for a little light for night feedings, had a good supply of Lanacane/Dermaplast (they didn't provide it at my birth center), and put a sheet protector down on the bed in case my water broke while sleeping (it didn't, but I'm going to be doing this again). I can't think of anything else right now.

    Keep up on laundry. Toward the end of my pregnancy I got lazy and laundry piled up. I wish I would have nagged dh to do it or just taken care of it myself.

    Nothing that couldn't be solved with a 5 minute trip to the store (if we are talking things and such). We didn't do freezer meals. Unless you count Stouffers Lasagna and some pizzas. Then we totally did.

    We finished the nursery the day I went in for an induction. I really wish I had shaved my legs and had a bikini wax, but I really didn't care at the time. I totally cared after I had given birth in front of about a dozen people.

    x2. my deep freeze is full of some stouffers. and frozen vegetables. just to even it out.
