My DH is clueless about these things. ?They already have brackets on the back of each letter so I'm thinking I just need a very small nail for each letter. ?My ? is how do you get them centered and in line and do I just take a hammer and tap the nail lightly into the wall? ?I don't want to ruin my nice paint job and wall lol. ?TIA.
Re: How do you hang wall letters?
If I put a yardstick at eyesight level and just made 5 marks one for each letter do you think that would work? ?
I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for a laser leveler.?
That should be fine, do you have a regular level? you can check to see how straight the line is with a regular level or borrow one from a neighbor.
I got a laser level a few years ago and it was actually pretty cheap:

Do you have a radioshak near you? That one is only 10 dollars.
Get a big sheet of wrapping paper and place the things you want to hang on it. Then trace them. Tape the whole piece of paper to the wall and tap your nails in the wall through the paper, then pull the paper down, leaving the nails in the wall and ready to hang!
Does that make any sense?
YOU are SO smart!?
