  Hi everyone! Hope you are all well, I've been so busy that I haven't been able to get on much.

  Update: Well things have been very busy, getting ready for baby, and finishing up at work (1 more week!) and preparing for my substitute. I have been exhausted but feeling ok. I think the baby might have dropped a bit as I'm starting to feel pressure where I haven't yet. I have an appt. tomorrow so I'm hoping I can get some info about his size, dilation (even though I know it doesn't mean much), and some questions I have answered.

  GTKY: I keep going back and forth. On the one hand I feel like I have so much to do for baby still and don't feel prepared mentally either. On the other hand I am hoping each day that my body is getting closer to delivery. There is also a part of me that will miss being pregnant. I love my belly, my alone time with the baby, and the closeness only I have with him.

  I'm officially Full Term as of last Friday! It's truly amazing. Had my weekly check up yesterday: cervix is 1.5cm dilated and 70 percent effaced. Baby's head has come down which is probably why my pelvis and hip hurts So. Freakin. Bad.
  
  I'm happy to have made at least a lil progress since the cerclage came out. Now I am very anxious to meet this LO! So to answer the GTKY, NO I don't wish this pg could last longer. I feel like it's a miracle I actually made it to term, so now that it's safe for baby to arrive I want him/her to come out so nothing else can go wrong!
  
  I'm hoping this happens quickly; I don't want to go anywhere near my due date!

  Update: We have our appointment tomorrow and we will have another NST scan then.  I am not sure if they will check for progress again or if they will wait until next week Other than that, not much to update.  Can't believe only 3 weeks till due date.

  QOTW: Sometimes I wish pregnancy would last forever, as I loved feeling my DS move inside of me, but I also could not wait for him to arrive and meet him.  I am really anxious for this baby as well.  We do not know the sex of the baby and I can not wait to find out.

  I am doing well but let's of nausea and BMs!  Have an induction next Tuesday! Am excited and nervous!!!

  in some ways yes I do wish it was longer but I think nine months is a good window of time!

  Update: my 37w appt was yesterday and I asked for another internal to find out if there was any progression. About 1 cm. I have had what feels like mild menstrual like cramps off and on. Dr says he will strip my membranes at 39w and induce around 40w. I am exhausted by the time I get to work and still go back and forth about when I will throw in the towel. Possibly Dec 13 but we'll see.
  
  GTKY: I loved being pg with DS and was in no hurry to get him out he stayed in a week past his date but I am so over bring pg now. I hate the limbo and the waiting but then I remind myself I am getting a full night's sleep right now although not perfect due to all the pg discomforts and once DD arrives it is buh bye sleep and hello 11pm, 2am, 6 am feedings. I am freaked just thinking about it. Sigh!

  Things are good here but this pregnancy thing is starting to get hard on my body. I am scheduled for an induction on 12/11 due to my GD and I'm getting nervous! Today, I had my 38 week check-up and I was a finger tip dilated and my cervix is soft.  It's kind of weird that I am more than willing to share that information here but I have threatened my husband not to repeat a single thing my vagina is doing to anyone!  Haha!  

  GTKY:  I can't say that I'd like all of pregnancy to last longer but as my days are numbered, I am already starting to realize how much I am going to miss feeling the movement of my baby.  I have loved the movement throughout my pregnancy but now it's more of a bittersweet experience.  I want to meet my baby but I want to keep those intimate feelings between just the two of us.  It's something that only we experience together and now I'm going to have to adjust to sharing. I'm extremely happy my husband finally gets to be more hands-on with our baby but a bit jealous that I have to share.  Does that make sense?

  Updates: He FINALLY turned!  Now, I just need him to drop :-)  At my midwife appointment this past Tuesday, she said I was 50% effaced but so soft that she couldn't tell how dilated I am. 

  GTKY: This is my last pregnancy so while I am appreciating every moment, I do NOT wish it to be any longer than it has to be.  With a 2 1/2 yo dd, I am exhausted and just can't keep up with her anymore.

  Updates:  I was having a lot of activity this past weekend, but when I had my check-up on monday I found out I was just at 1.5 cm dialated, high, and pretty firm, so still have a bit to go.  (We actually compared to my other kids and these are the exact same stats I had at this gestational age with my DD and she was a due date baby).  I'm now expecting to be pregnant for a little while longer. :-)
  
  GTKY:  We are planning for this to be our last and I now I will miss being pregnant, but at this point my body is done.  So it's a 2 sided coin for me...

  Updates: 

  I've been having sporadic contractions, but, unfortunately, nothing indicative of labor. I'm so desperately ready to be done that I'm actually going to make these ridiculous Jump Start Your Labor Cookies (https://www.shoppingfortwo.com/Articles/Pregnancy/breakyourwatercookies.htm) Ha.  

  As of last Friday, I was 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. I go to the midwife again tomorrow and am hoping that she will find I've progressed further.

  GTKY:

  As fortunate as I feel to have gotten pregnant and stayed that way, I am WAY over it at this point.  I just want baby girl in my arms.
