So I went in, the tech and the dr both did u/s, everything looked good, except for a bright spot in the heart, however the dr said he would not worry about it, but want to see me in 4 weeks to make sure that it's going away as the muscles around the heart develope more. The sequential screening results were good, too and he said we really don't have to do the amnio, but we did it anyways, the pain wasn't too bad, it's a little uncomfortable but overall ok. It took only less than 5 min from prep to end.
And we found out that it's BOY!! (DH was hoping for a little girl however!!) But we take a healthy baby any day!!
