Sorry for another chart stalk post. I just need all the insight/advice I can get as my cycle is completely confusing this month. I started using an OPK around day 14/15 and keep getting negatives. It's now day 22 and still negative. Last month my cycle was pretty easy to figure out but this month, not so much.
Any advice would be appreciated. TIA
Re: Chart stalk me please
How many times a day do you test? Did you test on CD19? It's possible you missed your surge and you ovulated on CD20. But it's also possible you haven't ovulated yet. Wait a few days and see if your temps stay up.
ETA: Now I'm confused. I could have sworn that a minute ago there weren't dotted CHs there. Am I crazy or did you change something on your chart?
I've only been testing once a day. The dotted CH has been there for a few days, but I don't think it's entirely right. I didn't test on CD 19. I did on 18 and 20.
Maybe this is a stupid question...but if I missed ovulation time on the OPK, would it just go back to being negative? I just don't get why every time it keeps saying negative. It's already day 22 and for me that's pretty late to not have O'd.
Gah! Raeyn. I luuuurve your new siggy. That wedding pic is perfection!

I think you could have O'd on CD20 but it'll take a couple more days to confirm.
About them always being negative - if you're only doing it once a day, it could just be a matter of timing. Last cycle, I saw mine getting darker but they never truly got positive. After my temps confirmed O, I went back and changed the darkest one to a +. This cycle, I've had to test a couple of hours later in the day and I got a very clear +. Maybe your surge isn't very long and you're just missing it? Are you at least seeing the lines get darker? Or no change?
(Edited to remove one of my questions after seeing it answered in a previous post)
Yes. If you missed your surge, you'll just see negatives all the time.
Maybe from now on I'll try a different time. I was doing them in the morning but then read that's not always the best time to do it, so I switched to the afternoon. I would say the line today was darker than the other tests so far, but it was pretty obviously negative. Looks like I'll have to buy a ton more test strips and start trying more than just once a day or every other day.
You will only get a positive during your LH surge, before and after your surge you will get negatives. CD 22 is not that late to O.

Good luck! I hope you're able to catch your surge at some point.
I was originally doing them around 1:30-2:30 in the afternoon but once I went back to work full time, I've been doing them around 4-4:30. That later time seemed to work better for me.
