1. "40 week" appt was yesterday, but don't actually hit the due date until tomorrow. I was hoping for more progression than I got (1 cm. dilated and 65% effaced), even though I keep telling myself those numbers mean nothing. Induction scheduled for 12/17 if no baby by then; NST scheduled for Monday.
2. I completely agree with spencernmeagan. I am starting to be very uncomfortable, but there are days when I am fine.
3. I am trying to wrap up some projects at work, so I wouldn't completely mind if she held off a little longer, but I cannot wait to meet her, so I would be excited to go into labor too.
1. I went in on Monday. 2 cm dilated,GBS negative. Blood pressure was 140 so they are keeping an eye on that.Internal hurt like a biatch,and had bad cramping the rest of the night so I will probably decline at the next visit.
2. Some days I feel better than others,I seem to get really crampy,uncomfortable as the evening comes. By 9 pm I need to be in bed because my rib pain hurts so much.
3.The only thing left to do is install the car seat,so while I am ready pretty much whenever he is. My BF has all of next week off work so that would be ideal2. How are you feeling: Not horrible, more pelvic pressure, but that's just because she's dropped some.

1. Doctor appointment is next Tuesday...
2. Feeling alright. Had mild contractions that were 20 minutes apart for about 2 hours yesterday then they stopped. Lower back pain and I are becoming good friends..
3. Definitely ready for baby...
1. Had my 38 week appointment today. I am now dilated to 4 and 50% effaced!! We talked about if I wanted to be induced if I don't have her by my due date because of the holidays and I was happy he said he would fine with that!
2. I am actually feeling really great today. I have tons of energy. I've been able to get some of my freezer meals done today so we have some sort of food for when the baby comes.
3. I am so ready for her to be here!!
That is GREAT!!! The chances of the induction working with you already dilated and effaced that much are really good. Maybe your burst of energy is some form of nesting though
GL and I hope LO comes on her own before the induction.
1. I went for my 37 week appointment yesterday and she said I progressed quite a bit from the week before I am 1 cm dilated 80% effaced and baby is at a -2 station. Last week I was 1 cm 50% effaced and baby was at -3 so I was happy to hear that I was progressing.

38 wk appt this am - after being between 1 & 2 last week & really soft, I thought FOR SURE that I'd be effaced & at least a 3 with all the contractions I've have the last week. NOPE - no progress - grr. But, my mw is totally willing to let me keep going with no strong-arming toward a csection (GD, big baby, want vbac) - so that's good. sigh....
Feeling pretty good, just really tired and getting anxious/nervous.
Ready as we can be until DH finishes our remodel of bedrooms. He's really dragging his feet. Ugh. Personally tho' I'm SO ready for this baby to be out.
2. How are you feeling: discouraged. Not miserable by any means but I've made 0 progress in one week. Any my fav doc in the practice is on call this weekend. I had hoped she would deliver the baby but I don't think that will happen :
3. Are you ready for the baby: we thought I was going to be induced the week of thanksgiving due to low afi so we got our butts in gear. House is ready. I'm not sure if I'm ready for the sleepless nights but I can't wait to meet this baby!

Jan 15 NOV siggy challenge:
1. Doctor appointment/updates: I had my 39.5 week appointment and I was 3.5cms and 80% effaced. My due date is Friday... I had some false labor on monday night (3 hrs of contractions ranging 4-6 minutes apart and 45-60 seconds) But then they just stopped, what a teast. I'm hoping she comes within the next few days!
2. How are you feeling: I feel pretty bored. I SAH with my DD and its just too difficult to get out of the house with her now without killing my body, so we've just been sitting at home. My house is clean and all my laundry is done at least.
3. Are you ready for the baby: Yep. I even have my bag packed and in the car already. LOL.
1. Doctor appointment/updates - had 38 week appointment last night, cervix is thinning but no dilation yet. So I've been bouncing on a ball, eating spicy food, and attacked DH tonight.
2. How are you feeling - Sleeping like crap, it's hard to stay on my left side since her head is on my left hip but rolling side to side is almost impossible.
3. Are you ready for the baby - Very ready! Work has even given me only little things to do in preparation for my leave.Thanks! I hope she comes on her own before we have to deal with the induction as well!! I am hoping this burst of energy is the supposed nesting your suppose to get!
1. Next appointment is my 36 week appointment on Friday (but I'll actually be right at 37 weeks on that day). Hoping for some progress, if it's just a teensy bit
2. Mostly tired and excited for baby! I've been nesting, but there are some days where I just want to sleep for hours upon hours. Sleeping hasn't been too easy, since baby still is kind of high up at times.
3. Materially, we are pretty much ready (just need our bassinet to be delivered). Mentally, we aren't sure any more! Last night, DH and I both had a little bit of a freak-out. I guess we won't know until we see LO's cute face
2. How are you feeling: like complete crap. I just want the baby out. I can barely move my legs without being in extreme pain. Cannot get comfortable sleeping. Have been overly nauseous the past few days and I cry over everything just from pure exhaustion. Took me three hours to set up the baby swing and I can't tell you how many times I was in hysterical tears because I couldn't figure it out.
3. Are you ready for the baby: Yes! The last week is truly the hardest. But bags are packed, everything is set up. I just need a little one to spoil.

My next appointment isn't until the 18th..assuming I don't do into labor before then.
2. How are you feeling:
Anxious...I'm restless enough to keep doing things around the house, but not really nesting. I've decorated a little for Christmas, since what was supposed to be nobody come over has turned into 13+ people, including 5 children under the age of 3...I'm avoiding thinking about it as it makes furious. My mother decided this and didn't run it by me or my husband, I've learned all this from my sister.
I don't sleep very well since I can't lay in one position for very long, I can't stand or sit for very long either! It's very frustrating.
3. Are you ready for the baby:
The house is basically ready. My parents gave me some shelves to hang in the baby's room and we haven't done that yet. My husband said he would do that this weekend, along with installing the carseat base. Our hospital bag has been packed since our scare at 32 weeks, and it is in the car.
Me ready? I'm not really sure. I feel him moving, I know he's coming, but it's not 'real' yet I guess. I am ready to sleep on my stomach, though if one more person tells me that I'm never going to sleep again, I may scream.

I am feeling pretty good, still getting 8 hrs of sleep... just some swelling in my feet, and occasional heartburn.. I thought this would be harder?

As ready as I am going to be I suppose... this pregnancy has gone by very fast, and we were not trying so maybe I am not ready mentally lol, but the nursery is ready, my hospital bag is packed, and the carseat is all installed and ready to go!
1. Doctor appointment/updates: Just had my 36 week appointment. Things are looking good, baby is low, and I am 1.5cm dialated and 50% effaced.
2. How are you feeling: I know I could be at this stage with dilation and effacement for a while, but just to hear that I am making progress feels so awesome. As far as physically, well, it's hard to sleep, I have to pee all the time and I snore so much I keep my H out of the bedroom
3. Are you ready for the baby: In a word no... baby's bag is packed, mine and DH's not. Baby's room is ready. I am still at work and have a ton to do before leave, so it's all a bit overwhelming. I want to have him like right now, but part of me is praying he waits 2 weeks at least.
1. had a doctor appointment today and I am so happy to tell you my baby has flipped on her own so we cancelled the c section! YAY!!!!!!
2. I am feeling huge, I am ready to be done with this pregnancy!

They ended up doing an u/s to confirm the slightly elevated fasting glucose #s I had a few times were not effecting the baby and we didn't need to start meds. I'm just under 38 weeks and they estimated the baby is 6 lbs 3 ozs so now I'm wondering if I should go out and buy new newborn clothing. Most of mine starts at 0-3.

My wrist and back and hips/legs really hurt most of the time, but it could be worse.

I have all the major things in place, but I'm still doing things here and there and need to completely finalize a few decisions.
