Random I know, but I realized you never see this side of my baby, and her crazy rattail. My Mom wants to but it off, but I won't let her. I must admit it is pretty akward. Maybe I should have shaved her head :P
I would cut it. I know people get very attached to the whole "first haircut" thing, but I don't see a big deal about doing it when their hair needs a little shaping, even if it is before they turn 1. I was picking on my SIL with my nephew last year because he was totally rocking a little mullet and she just couldn't let go of the idea of him having his baby hair! If Ben had enough hair to need a trim, we would just do it. I can't wait to see how cute he'll look after his first haircut. Just go for it!!!

I vote cut Or see if you can pull it up into a ponytail?
Yeah, she can rock a pony, she has been able to for awhile. But as soon as I put her in the carseat to go out, it gets pulled out
Hayley's hair is mostly on top - so I sometimes clip a bow up there and it does the same thing! I just wait til I go get her out of her seat and stick it back in before we walk in to wherever we are.
Re: My baby's Rattail
Personally, I would cut it. It would drive me crazy.
A friend of mine shaved her sons head when he was around. 2 months because it was growing in awkward patches.
