Mobile: Loss mentioned. Hug your babies a little closer.

A close friend of ours lost her son last night at 14 mo. I cant explain to you how upset I am, let alone her. I have been at work crying all day. I cannot wait to go home to my baby.

I have no idea what the cut off is for SIDS, but she went to check on him and he wasn't breathing. This had happened like a month before too. She woke up to him choking and he stopped breaking, he was released that night from the hospital, she did a follow up with his doctor and they said nothing was wrong with him. She thought different, maybe he had a seizure or something.

I think honestly if I thought different, I'd never give it up.

RIP baby Cayden.

T&Ps to your friend. The loss of your child is a pain that is unbearable to describe. If your friend is on TB the women on the loss board have been an amazing support while I have been coping with the loss of DD's twin sister who was born sleeping.

So so sad. A friend of mine has a cousin who just lost their 18 month old girl. No reason why. Just went in and found her not breathing. Absolutely heart breaking.

My heart goes out to your friend. This happened in my family last year with my cousin's 15 month old. It is such a terrible tragedy at an especially difficult time of year. I am so sorry.

Oh my god. This is so awful, I feel so bad for you and your friend. I can't tell you how many times I wake up to hear Ethan either coughing, choking or making a funny noise and am so fearful this will happen to him.

This...it's even more rare than sids. I have a friend who lost her 19 month old son to this 2 months ago.
