I have some from weight gain in college and have acquired several more from pregnancy in places I didn't know stretch marks could even happen. My skin sucks.

My stretch marks are from weight gain and loss throughout my life. I used Palmer's Cocoa Butter throughout my first pregnancy and had no stretch marks around my belly. Even my primary doctor was impressed on how nice my skin looked. I continued to use cocoa butter with this pregnancy but I just ran out and I'm not going to buy any more since I'm near the end. We'll see how it looks after two full term babies.

I haven't gotten any new ones with this pregnancy but I think that's because I got more than enough with my first pregnancy. I started getting them last time while I was still in the first trimester, I had lost weight at that point and I was still fitting into all of my normal clothes so I think my body just hates me. That whole idea of you'll know if you'll get them by looking at your mom is a total lie, my mom made it through two pregnancies without a single stretch mark and only got one or two little ones in her last two weeks with her third pregnancy (which happened to be me, your welcome mom!).
I have them on my sides from my teenage years. Didn't get them at all while pregnant with DS but about 2 weeks post-partum I noticed that I had them all over my lower stomach. Maybe from pushing? Who knows, doesn't matter, this body is never getting into a bikini again.

Oh my.. my stomach looked (and still does look!!) like a ROAD MAP with all the stretch marks I got from my last pregnancy! Honestly, I can't imagine I'll gain any more this time, as I think I've already got a bazillion on my belly!! Hoping in time they will fade..
I've had yo-yo weight loss and gain throughout my life, so unfortunately, my stomach is entirely covered in stretch marks already and I don't think having a baby is going to make one bit of a difference -- I don't see how it could get any worse!
TTC since Aug 2011. BFP #1 on 10/28/2011 EDD of 07/02/2012 Natural MC on 11/22/2012 BFP #2 on 10/28/2012 EDD of 7/13/13 Judah Ari born on 7/11/13.
With my first I "thought" I was genetically blessed with no stretch marks until I had the baby and my belly deflated. They were all hiding underneath where I couldn't see them, and my DH (bless his heart) thought it would be better not to tell me about them since I felt like crap about all the weight I gained anyways. So yeah, I have them and get new ones pretty much each time, but don't notice until after I deliver.
I needed a SS. I do not have any on my HUGE stomach :::knocks on wood:::: but strangely I got some on my boobs even though they didn't grow much (probably between 1/2 cup size and 1 size up).

I never had any until I hit 38 weeks with DS. I thought I was in the clear, then one morning I woke up with them radiating from my belly button like the sun's rays. Now, I think those stretch marks have stretch marks.
