S/O Ornament Gifts

Those giving them, do you give them on Christmas or earlier so that the receivers can hang it on their tree for awhile? Or are they usually used for the next year?

    We don't see them until Christmas, so they get them then.  Most that I know keep their tree up for at least a week (usually until after New Year's), so they go on Christmas day until they take down the tree.

    This is only the second year we've done them, and I just finished last year's ornaments this Thanksgiving, sooooo . . .

    I gave my mom and MIL last year's ornaments as soon as I finished them this year, since I was so behind.  This year, I get the feeling we're going to be pretty last minute about it again.  I'm going to try and give them before Christmas, but we'll see when the ornaments are actually done.

    I give my mom an ornament every year, she gets it whenever my family does our Christmas. Sometimes it's Christmas Day, sometimes it's before.

    Last year I got her an ornament that said "Grandma's 1st Christmas 2011" because my brother and I both had our first children last year.

    lol This is me with....just about every. Wedding book, honeymoon book, T's babybook...I suck

     

    Okay thanks ladies! I will just give them on Christmas! Which is great because I'm behind anyway
