Cheerio Challenge
Target Age: Early One-Year Old
Materials You Will Need:
cheerios, plastic bottle
What To Do:
Children learn to problem solve through play. Place a few cheerios inside a plastic bottle without a lid. See if your child can solve the problem of getting the cheerios out of the bottle and into the mouth!

LOL! I know exactly what would happen -- DS will tip the bottle over, shake it to get the cheerios out and then I'll have cheerios all over the place! I think he'd skip the "into the mouth" part altogether!
We often do something similar with one of those tin water bottles and another toy that DS has. He loves putting the toy into the bottle, turning it over and shaking it to get the toy out!
