We are getting DS a scooter for Christmas, and I was leaning towards a two wheel razor, but I see a lot of posts on the mini-scooter for 3 and 4 years olds. DS will turn 4 next month.
My thoughts, Razor plus is they are cheaper, more kids have them so your child will have what everyone has, and they fold. Plus for Kick, way easier to use and very easy to get around on and more stable. Like I said below, I have seen 2yos wiz on them yet they are not babyish, although I cannot promise a kid could not feel that way because the beginner scooters have 3 wheels and yet Mini makes 3wheelers for bigger kids too.

I got the razor for Callum for this Christmas (he is also about to turn 4). I'm not going to lie...the price was a big factor But he has really good balance so I think he will pick it up quickly - or grow into it.
My 3 yr old is awesome on his brothers razor scooter. The 3 wheeler only lasted 1 yr for us... my almost 7 yr old still uses his 2 wheeled razor scooter. Plus I have three different colors, one for each boy!
