If you have 2+ kids how long did it take you to get pregnant

with each of them? We are currently trying for our second and I am letting it get to me way too much. It took us four months to get pregnant with our son but it happened during the first month that I was charting and temping. I'm just curious to see what other people experienced.

#1-5 months (only 3 cycles though--I go a long time between periods)

#2-one night of pull and pray as bc. LOL

We tried for 6 months to get pregnant again with no luck. I only had two periods in that time frame though. We may try again at some point next year but not 100% sure yet.

#1 took us over a year and one misscarriage

#2 took a month

I misscarried between #2 and this pregnancy but we weren't trying to get pregnant

#3 was in the heat of the moment on our trip to California without BC or condom. A very happy surprise!

With DS it took 10 cycles (nearly a year).

With this baby 1 cycle.

Obviously I don't know for sure, but I think the biggest difference was my body had trouble coming off of hormonal BCPs when we were TTC DS. Before this baby I was using FAM to avoid pregnancy. I was charting while TTC both.

My first was a surprise. My second I got pregnant on the first month trying. This time was a semi-surprise. We were planning to start TTC the next month, but my IUD was out and we weren't being as careful as we should have. We were following symptoms and thought I had ovulated 48 hours prior, but apparently not!

I am very clearly not the norm and H will be getting a V after this because my body doesn't handle pregnancy well and I can't risk another.

It took nearly 2 years and 3 rounds of Clomid before we had DD1. With the babies... first cycle, unmedicated.

It took about a year to get pregnant with my first. We weren't even trying with my second, he was a complete surprise.

#1: got PG. We weren't TTC, but I wasn't on BC.

#2: got PG in Europe when DD#1 was 9 months old. Again, not actively TTC.

#3: got PG when DD#2 was 10 months old. Again, not actively TTC.

#4: total surprise PG. Once month of not paying attention to my cycle and BAM! I'm PG.

So, we are a very fertile couple. We've never actually said, let's try and have a kid. We just haven't used BC.

#1 we weren't trying but weren't properly preventing because I was rotating through different BC options figuring out what was going to work. DH had only been home from Iraq for 2mos.

#2 I was charting for BC but BFing so things were sporadic. It was a "maybe we should try...maybe not...ooops I ovulated" thing. It was my 7th PP cycle and I'm pretty sure it was the first cycle my LP was long enough to conceive.

Both girls were born in October. January is forever off limits for us.

Well it's not just the girls' birthdays. Zoe's bday is 10/18, DH's bday is 10/22, Emberlynn's bday is 10/26 and our wedding anniversary is 10/30. October is just too crazy. I feel there are three other seasons that need some love lol.

#1 - Pregnant the 1st month.

#2 - Pregnant on the 5th month.

I didn't do any temping or charting. Was getting ready to try it with #2 when I got BFP.

My first son was unplanned but his father and I had been intimate for 4 months, and this one took pretty much a year on the dot of actively trying.

22 months and lots of fertility meds, then DD1 was a surprise on a nonmedicated cycle.

DD2 took less than 3 months from getting off bcp to a bfp. I wasn't quite ready yet lol!!!

With M we weren't using bc for 4-5 months and then the 1st time we actually used an OPK, we DTD when it was positive and got pregnant that time.

This time it was our first try too.

ETA: With this LO I temped and charted for 3 months before we actually tried, and the month we tried I actually was lazy and didn't temp or use OPKs. We just DTD the night I noticed EWCM and got lucky.

With DS1 I got pg first cycle. With the twins, the first 5 cycles that I actually "could" try (we'd stopped preventing but I didn't have a cycle while BFing) I had a LPD. I got pg with them my first cycle on Clomid.

4+ yrs actively- with our first I had -IF- endometriosis. Several surgeries, tons of meds etc.

1 month not preventing with #2.

DD - 2nd cycle (but almost 4 months because of long cycles)

For #2, we tried for 8 months, got pregnant the 5th (long) cycle then had a miscarriage. Then tried for another 9 months before getting my BFP last month. Praying this will be our take-home baby.
