Is my son the only one that has to have his food handed to him in small quantities?? If I hand him a granola bar or anything he tries to shovel it all in his mouth!
What did you do? I tell him to slow down and chew and he still does it!
Well, like your LO, DD loves granola bars. So, I mostly used those to teach her. I would hold it and say, "take a bite," then put it in her mouth and give her a little nibble (does that make sense?). Now, she can handle "big" things on her own, for the most part, but every once in awhile, I have to remind her to take bites, and she does. Except when she's eating marshmallows. Then, she has a chubby bunny contest with herself.
