I made him Panthers coasters. I used the DIY with napkin idea from Pinterest, but instead of napkins, I painted different backgrounds and put the logo on those.
a Panthers man cave sign.
and from G, we made those salt dough foot and hand prints that I painted for him to use as paperweights at work.
I already wrapped all of it, so no pics

"What did my fingers do before they held you? What did my heart do with it's love?"
DH and I want to make footprint plates for our moms and write Grandma's Christmas Cookies or something like that but I'm not sure what kind of paint to use. I'm not crafty.
Any suggestions?
ETA: footprint plates with Cara's foot not ours lol

I am thinking about making peppermint vodka and sugar scrub.
I'm considering these too. I made my mom a calendar (my sister and I do it every year). I'm making SIL a big fleece blanket (her request). Everyone is getting a handprint ornament from J (and from last year lol, I never got around to putting them together). DH is getting a mug, mousepad, and something else with his company logo on it. I might make MIL a calendar. Coworkers are getting (possibly personalized) mugs and hot chocolate truffle balls (and maybe gourmet spoons if I get a chance).

I just finished Tatum's ornaments from last year right around Thanksgiving! I cut out the hand and foot prints, but never put them together! This year we're doing something just like this picture, but with the handprint in the salt dough instead of just on paper, I think. That's DH's idea, anyway (my idea was the handprint snowmen on a glass ornament, but when we tried to do it, it was a major fail).
I'm also making those no-sew fleece blankets for our nieces and nephew.
Oh, and supposedly, I'm making photo books on Shutterfly of Tatum's first year for my mom and MIL, but I've been talking about that since September and they're still not done. So we'll see.
I wish I had a picture to post (maybe I'll take one over lunch...)
For a cousin, I put some chevron fabric in a picture frame and painted a wooden letter with her initial in hot pink. I made one for DS' room too. I'm excited with how they turned out.
For a niece, I'm making a little owl applique on a t-shirt.
For announcing 2.0 at Christmas, I'm making DS a "big bro" shirt to wear. It's not quite finished yet... but I'll definitely AW it with a picture when it's done!

I'm asking all these questions...and its because I got nothing! I'm so behind on this!
But I did buy faux canvases for T to paint for the grandparents. I just don't have the paint yet
We're going to do this too. I forgot about it. I just bought some roseart fingerpaints at Hobby Lobby. They're nontoxic and washable so I figure they're good enough.

Oh yeah, and DD is finger painting Christmas cards for our close family. She stared them the other night, but only got a few done before she was tired of it. I think because we did them immediately after dinner (which was late to begin with) and she was sick of being in her high chair.
They're a complete mess of red and green paint smeared all over the cards, and I'm going to use silver glitter paint to write "Merry Christmas" across the top of the card. Most friends and family will get regular Christmas cards, but parents and other close family will get these, so we only need 5 or 6 of them. I'm having her paint all 8 cards that came in the package of blank cards, and I'll pick the 5 or 6 best ones to send.
I think it'll be fun to do this every year and see how the painting changes over the years. For the same reason, we're going to do hand/foot print ornaments every year to watch how they grow. Good times.

We are kind of making Max's gift. We are painting a gently used Cozy Coupe.
I'll probably bake cookies like I always do.
I want to do a craft with Max for the grandparents.
I am thinking about making peppermint vodka and sugar scrub.
Do you know what paint you are using?
Nope! Any suggestions? My H is in charge of this. He's picked the colors. We are doing a tan interior, black on the bottom and red on the top.
No! I need help too! Lol I am going to a few outside plastic toys too. I was thinking regular plastic paint...but I just don't know all the details...will it chip? Will T be able to nibble it off? Is it nontoxic? Etc,etc..
If I come across something good I will let ya know!

Re: S/O Christmas, what gifts are you making?
Definitely! Good idea, I bet G's grandmas would love something like that.
Just stuff for DH.

Did these turn out good? Something that will last? I am thinking I want to do something like this but there are so many options.

I'm glad I started this, I'm getting some good ideas.
My nephew is getting a hoodie-a-saurus like this (his is wrapped)
My niece is getting a block puzzle
My sister is getting a camera strap cover
I think I'm going to do a chalkboard picture frame for my SIL
All the women are getting homemade lip balm as stocking stuffers

Calendar for my parents from O and my sisters kids.
Ornaments from Owen for both sets of his grandparents.
A blanket for DH - one of this tie things that does not require sewing. I stink at arts and crafts!

eh. They are decent. They needed to be baked much longer than the recipe said
"What did my fingers do before they held you? What did my heart do with it's love?"

that is basically what I did.

I seriously love this idea. I can make the initial ones for coworkers!
