BonJovi will be playing an hour away from where I live in March. A good friend has already scored tickets. She called me the other night and said she got one for me. Um, I'll be 37 weeks. Not tell best time to go to a rock concert. She said if I have the baby at the show it'd be a sure bet the band would visit me in the hospital. 

Not sure I want to meet Richie Sambora that bad. 

If somebody thinks they're a hedgehog, presumably you just give 'em a mirror and a few pictures of hedgehogs and tell them to sort it out for themselves.-Douglas Adams

    Very sweet of your friend, but I'm with you - at 37 weeks, no rock concerts for this mama! :)

    Except for maybe not wanting to be out late and/or standing on your feet for long, I would totally go!!  Unless you are in some sort of risk category for delivering early, I wouldn't worry about it.  Absolute worst case, if you DID start to feel contractions at the show, you could easily leave early.  I'm sure there may be an extreme (and lucky!) case out there somewhere, but the chances of you starting labor & delivering a baby within 1 hour are pretty nil.

    What a sweet friend you have! I would definitely go see Bon Jovi, even at 37 weeks. But, then again, most would probably say that is crazy :)

    My mom wanted to go so bad was looking at tickets online and was looking into a package deal...Then she realized the concert is April 20th in Las Vegas and my due date is the 22nd.  She is bummed but everything happens for a reason.  :)

    Don't get me wrong. I desperately want to go, but my midwife said no way. Her back up ob (high risk doc) wants me to switch to him because of some minor issues anyway  and she is fighting to keep me with her (like I said, minor). If I agree to go I'll be out for sure. 

    Now, if I could be backstage for the show...

    I'd totally go!  Probably avoid any sort of mosh pitting going on but sit down if you need to and enjoy!
