trying to walk

So DH dug out a toy DS got way back, it's one of those push to walk toys, and DS totally pulls himself up to stand and walks with it. He is a little wobbly, but gets from one place to the next with this walking toy. Sometimes he runs with it.

NOT ready for walking yet..please slow down baby!

Re: trying to walk

  • Wow! I can't believe how big they are getting already! It is crazy.

  • Our little guy is doing the same thing. I don't think I'm quite ready for all this mobility, it seems he's doing it all faster than I thought.

I noticed that your signature shows that your DS was born 3 weeks before his due date. Our DS was born 3 and a half weeks early too - 5 lb 3 oz. I wonder if they are mobile more quickly because they don't have as much weight to carry around Smile...

Seems like all our friend's babies are in the 90th-100th percentile, and ours is barely on the charts, so it was nice to see your pics.

I know Jonathan is a peanut, he's only 15lb right now! I definitely think this is why he is really mobile.  At daycare there are two other babies between 8-10months and Jonathan is the only one trying to walk already. Yea I am not ready for all this mobility

It sounds like you sure have your hands full.  I have 2 of those toys for my dd.  She isn't even close to walking with them, let alone standing.  She's not crawling yet either.  Super exciting though.  I'd be nervous, yet cheering him along all the way.  Wohoo!

yea we cheer him on, it's exciting. DS gets all excited too..he screams when he pulls himself up to stand, and screams while he's walking with toy...making sure we are watching....DH says by Christmas he will walk alone, I don't think that will happen. I think by Christmas he will be standing on his own, and falling a lot more.....but I think once he gets his balance and can on his own..he's going to be walking/running.
