I am trying to find a good pair of dressy shoes for DD to wear with her dresses. Right now I make her wear her light up shoes. I just bought her a pair of black boots from kohls and the 1st time she wore them they got ruined. The toes got all scuffed up (it has to be how she walks/plays) Is there a pair you would recommend that have better toes where the stuff would not come off so easily?
these are the boots I got from kohls:

Re: Help - Dressy shoes for a girl
I got these for our youngest daughter - dressy enough and sturdy so she doesn't destroy them.

Avoid shoes like these like the plague:

I've gotten a couple of pairs like this and our oldest daughter has destroyed the toes of them within two wears.
