Do you gift cookies or anything to your neighbors?

Mobile users: do u gift cookies or anything to your neighbors?

Just wondering. Last year, a neighbor brought us some, and I thought it was a lovely gesture! We had just moved here, so I was wondering if maybe they did it because of that. I wouldn't mind doing it this year, but we live on a big street so it'd be a lot of baking! Also, we hardly know any of our neighbors.

  • Of course! There are only two of us that actually eat the sweets so I have a lot left over! Where we are living now the neighbiors are much older and would very much enjoy a plate of anything they did not have to bake/cook. I am excited to make their day!

When we lived in TX a neighbor brought us a cake and now she and I are best of friends! Ha! That is sad all it takes is a cake and I am yours!

  • Not usually because we were never that close to our neighbors. This year since we moved we will be! We have this older man who lives next door who at first scared the poo out of me. He was always outside and watching us almost. He turned out to be one of the sweetest old men, he's definitely a little out there but mostly he's just lonely. He'll take out our trash to the curbside and even pay for it before we wake up in the morning. He will always say hi to us and is just a really sweet man. I plan on making him cookies and goodies this year. I also plan on baking a big Christmas dinner before we go to my in laws and sending it to him. I don't think he has any family or many friends and everyone should get a homemade dinner for the holidays.
  • We will this year! We live in a condo complex, kinda like a cross between apartments and townhouses.

Our walls are a bit thin, and I'm pretty sure our neighbors have heard A screaming and us having sex.

So I guess they'll be apology Cheistmas cookies.

  • Only for our one neighbor, because we are the most comfortable with them.  I usually have a tray for them.  This year we don't see them as often (our schedules conflict), so I may put them in a tin and put them in our mailbox with our Christmas card.

  • I don't actually bake cookies because my mom makes enough for an army. She usually give me enough for us, and for me to bring to work. I have one elderly neighbor who's husband died recently. I'll make her a plate and probably take B over for a visit.

  • I was really surprised at how many of our neighbors stopped buy with gifts for the baby when he was born, because we hardly ever talk to any of them. Maybe we should bring the people right around us some cookies. It's a good excuse to make lots of cookies and since my mom lives on this street too we can just have them be from both our families.
