I know it's late, but I have a vent.
My brother just visited us for 8 days. We went through 4 loaves of bread, 3 pounds of baloney, countless pitchers of iced tea and Crystal Light, had no leftovers (he seriously ate 12 tacos for dinner, then grabbed a fork when the shells were gone), and pretty much ate anything not nailed down (or was a vegetable).
When I did my weekly bathroom cleaning, I could have thrown up when I saw the toilets. There was pee all over the rim of the bowl. I know it wasn't DH because he a) doesn't lift the seat and STILL doesn't pee on it and b) doesn't use the basement bathroom very often.
Then, there was his smell. He showered 3 times in the 8 days he was here and the towels/washcloths he used STANK. Our guest room smelled like ass, so I asked him to strip the bed completely when he left. I hosed the mattress and pillows down, washed everything in hot water, then vaccuumed the carpet to death.
Oh, and he didn't even bring a toothbrush with him. He's not visiting for Christmas.
Re: Testes Tuesday
OMG- that's gross! My brother looks sloppy, but he showers daily. Although, I don't always get a shower in every day...
I'm here just PWing it up. My DH did wake up Nora last night. He was trying to find her monitor, and instead of actually looking for it, he went into her room to press the 'find' button. She saw him and freaked out. She took over an hour to get back to sleep. He did redeem this evening, though. While his mother and I painted his daughter's room, he watched, fed, bathed, and put Nora to bed.
Me that feeding him in bed hurts his back. Ok, take my pillows then. No. Go to the nursery. No. He says he is tired of getting up all the time.
Oh yeah? I got up with big A all the time. Sorry but I cannot pump and feed him. I mean I could but I don't want to. He is being a big baby about it.
