I'm a STM I have felt flutters since 11 wks. They got stronger last week at 14 wks. But NOWWWWW I'm going on 16 and have felt NOTHING for the past two days. Has this happened to anyone else?
I called my nurse and she said she isn't worried about it until 16 wks WHICH IS SATURDAY! LOL so that didn't make me feel better. But I do have my 16 Wk check up on Monday. She told me to lie down still drink something sweet to get the baby moving. She says baby is probably hiding behind the placenta.
What should I drink? I'm not a sweets person. I'm drinking a Pepsi and it hasn't done anything.

Re: flutters now no flutters
flutters at 11 weeks?
either way..... kick counts don't really start till around 26ish weeks (someone can correct me on that)
I started feeling movement at 16 weeks and there are days I won't feel anything all day until night time.
But to answer your question, drink some cold water or orange juice
It is different for everyone for feeling baby movements. I'm very intuned with my body and I'm small boned. So yes I was feeling flutters early.
But thanks! Im going to try ice water and or OJ. I'm sure I'm fine LOL I just would feel better if I felt baby like I had been.
It's quite common for STM to feel flutters sooner than FTM. I've been feeling them since about 10 weeks. To the OP- I think the movements just have to be strong enough for us to feel them, so we don't feel them every day, or every time just yet. I don't feel them every day either.
My doctor doesn't expect consistent, predictable movement until 25ish weeks. I know it can be nervewracking, but I would try to relax. Keep in mind that most people are still feeling nothing at this point.

Tried to conceive on our own for a year before moving on to fertility treatments. Dx unexplained. About 10 months of procedures, shots, and countless doctor appointments, we got our BFP! BFN on 5 IUI's
IVF#1 - ER 09/14/12, ET 09/17/12: two 8 cells, BFP: 9/28 Beta#1 56.8; 10/2 Beta#2 284; 10/5 Beta#3 939; 10/9 Beta #4 4967. One baby on board with EDD 06/07/13!
That's what I waa expecting hwr to say not till after 20 Weeks or so LOL so when she said 16 wks I was like WHAT that's Saturday! I'm sure I'm fine I just thought it was odd I felt baby so much all of a sudden last week but now nothing. I have a doc appt Monday where I know he will do a heart beat check I have an early 16 Wk elective sono Wednesday to see if we can see if baby is team Pink or blue ;. So I'll hear see baby soon.
I felt flutters with DS at 5 weeks, and continued to feel them as they got stronger.
With this pregnancy, I first felt flutters at 13 weeks, and then nothing from 14-17 weeks. Then from there, she has never stopped moving.
Because it is so early, there is a decent probability that the baby has just moved into a position where you can't feel the squirming (most likely is facing your back).
Good luck at your appt. on Monday.
