Placenta Encapsulation

The closer I get to my due date (8 more weeks!!!) the more I keep thinking about this.  I'm still on the fence.  Does anyone have any experience with placenta encapsulation or any opinions on it that may be helpful?

Re: Placenta Encapsulation

  • Not for me, but I know people who did it and were happy that they did.

Same here; a friend had hers encapsulated and she was very happy with the process and results.  I think she said that not all hospitals will let you have your placenta so I would make sure of that first.

  • I did not do this personally, but I also had friends who did it and were super happy with the results. I do have a great recommendation, if you're interested - let me know!

  • It's not something I would usually take the time to look into either but pregnancy has me looking into all sorts of things I wouldn't normally do and the benefits seem to outweigh the negatives which so far is just the icky thoughts :
Anyhow Cali1012 I'd love your recommendation so I can learn a little more about it. You can PM me. Thanks!
  • So sorry I didn't reply until today! I just saw this now. I sent you back a PM! Thank you!
