Does anyone have the Plasma car and is it appropriate for a 2 yr old? I am thiking of getting it for my lo when he turns 2 in April. How does it work and will he figure it out? Are there other ride on toys that you would recommend? TIA!
We actually saved up so many Pampers Points that we got the plasma car. We haven't opened the box yet, but the website has testimonials that claim two year olds using. My neice and nephew had them at like 6 and 9, and they loved them. If you save the pampers points to grow, it takes like 6000, but hey, it was free for us.
We also got a plasma car with our pamper points. We got the car shortly after my son turned two. He first used it like a typical ride on and used his feet to move it around. He has now figured out how to ride on it and move it by using the steering wheel.
He loves to use it and calls it his firetruck since it is bright red. I like that it is a ride on toy that he can use for many years to come.
Love this! We got it for S for her second birthday, she was fighting her sisters for their plasma cars. They get used all the time. She is pretty fast on it, and it keeps her busy. Right now they are in our basement for the winter so they can play. Dh and I sneak turns when they are in bed.

Can't wait to break out DDs plasma car. Can it hold 122 lbs?? I want to try it!!
Just gave it to my 2 year old for his birthday and he likes it and is really fast on it. But he does use his feet. My 5 year old likes riding it too and does it correctly. And yes it can hold full grown adults although it goes much slower:)
DS just got one for his 2nd birthday. I don't think he's ever seen one used and got right on and as soon as BIL showed him what to do he was on his way. He starts by pushing with his feet but then gets the steering going.
I was actually wondering if anyone is putting helmets on LO on these? Do they tip/crash easy? We've only had it on the porch so far so he's not going fast or far yet. We already have a helmet that he wears for bike rides and he doesn't mind it so I may put it on him when we take the car to the park and such.
DD tried one recently but didn't get the whole 'it moves on its' own' thing. She used it like a regular pedal car. They go up to about 220lbs though. We're going to get DD a bike with trainers next year and get the plasma car for her little brother so he can keep up ;-)

Re: The Plasma Car?
There are little stickers on the plastic bags that diapers and wipes are packed in.
