cerclage at 16w 7d

hi everyone. i just had a cerclage placed last week on Friday and have been put on modified bed rest for two weeks. just wondering if anyone else has had this or knows what to expect as far as the rest of the progession of the pregnancy goes. thanks!

    I had one placed at 12 weeks and was only told to take it easy for two days and then I could resume normal activity.  The only restrictions were no working out and pelvic rest.  I have a 2 yr old so I'm able to lift her in and out of the car and crib with no issues just no carrying her long term.

    I think it's different for everyone, as long as things are holding you can resume normal activity.  I'm almost 27 weeks and haven't had any issues so I'm still doing my normal stuff.

    I just had mine removed a little over a week ago. Mine was emergent, placed at 22w5d. I was on bed rest for a looooonnng time; 21 weeks. But now I've been up for over a week, the stitch is gone and still no baby. Haha! At this point I'm just like a "normal" pregnancy and we just wait for baby to arrive. GL!
