I just wanted to let you know I absolutely LOVE your Life Book for Arie. It is amazing. I love seeing pictures of him when he was younger and the other kids from his orphanage. They are too cute!
How is he adjusting so far to life with you? I'm sure it's a big change for all of you. Every addition to a family is.
Oh - and thanks for the travel list as well. Some of the things on there I never would have thought of. I'll have to look at it later on if we actually get to adopt internationally (hoping to start home study next week!).
Re: jillianmb
Thank you so much! He seems to be adjusting very well so far. He has a very happy disposition so he is fairly easy to parent. He is doing all the right attachment stuff like coming to us for comfort if he falls and looking at us right in the eyes. He still rocks himself to sleep but I've heard that can take years to go away.
It is a big change but we were SO ready for it. We've wanted a child for years and this is just a dream come true!
Glad the travel list helped and congrats on starting your home study!! So exciting!
