It is definitely echoing in here, especially on weekends. I am headed back to the OR on Thursday for another hysteroscopy to remove more polyps for the second time in 7 months. My new donor should start BCPs mid December...

What is going on with you sweetie? Did you get your PGD results back? Any idea on an FET date??

I've been holding my breath. My donor had her scan today, triggered tonight, and ER is scheduled for Tuesday morning. We are perfectly on schedule for 12/9 transfer. Today dear donor had 11 follicles that were looking good. (They do lower stim cycles in Czech) I really can hardly breathe as it all unfolds.

Its part of my protocol to trigger at the same time she does. Tonight at 8pm was trigger time for us, and I thought so much of her and all she is trying to do to help our family. I hoped she was thinking of us as well. I couldn't help but to think that that moment was the closest we would ever be to being in the same place at the same time. Strangely beautiful, actually.

I have been spotting brown every time I wipe. And I just booked our arrangements to go back to Mexico for Lit mid december.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you on Thursday and for your new donor cycle - wow, two weeks away!!!

I did get my PGD results back and out of the 8 retrieved, 2 were sent for testing and both came back normal! (1 boy and 1 girl). They have had me on estrodial pending the results so we can move forward any time!

Our update - Apparently our donated embryos were created prior to 2005 when dEmbryo FDA rules came into place. They don't meet one particular requirement since the genetic father spent time in europe in the 80s so therefore my current RE is refusing to do the FET with them. I'm kind of pissed about it, but there's nothing I can do. I am working with another clinic in our area has verbally said they will do it if we sign a waiver, but they need the actual paperwork in front of them to make the final decision. The donor has to sign another release to get the records over and it's driving me nuts that these little details are causing such delays and problems. Such a headache! But the good news is that she is supposed to sign over all rights to the embryos to us sometime this week or weekend which is SO EXCITING! I can't wait until that is done.

Oh, and on a non-IF note, I'm having a colonoscopy on Friday which I'm really nervous about. I'm not nervous about the procedure itself because I had one last year and know what to expect. However, they found a polyp last year that was precancerous. Both of my brothers had polyps too, and my mom died last year of colon cancer. So I'm just praying that they don't find a thing and I can have peace of mind for another few years.

Can't wait until this weekend is here already.

Ugh, that sucks your RE won't do the FET! I'm sorry it's turning into a big deal, but hopefully the new RE will go through with it so you don't have to go to VA. Also, WOOHOO for V signing the rights over this week!! So super exciting!!

Just trying to get myself back into a positive head space. The adeno diagnosis caught me completely off guard but I am now telling myself that worst case scenario my odds going into this DE cycle are still four times better than with my own eggs (after my c/p my RE said our odds with OE were less than 8%, he gave me an over 60% chance with DE but has cut that down to 30-35% due to the location of the adeno). Anyway, onward and upward!

Wishing you a clean colonscopy! My mom had ovarian cancer (she survived thanksfully) and I am positive for the gene. It's scary getting scans to see if anythign is growing in me so I get your fears/concerns. It sucks and it is like waiting for the shoe to drop. Hoping all is good for you and that the new RE will do the FET. I get the rules etc but it is still ridiculously frustrating since "normal" people just go have sex for a baby and have zero testing beforehand. Hugs and hang in there:-)

Good luck with your colonoscopy. My Mum had colon cancer and is a survivor. I was supposed to start screening at 40 but somehow it has managed to slip through the cracks with everything else going on. My husband has had two, since both his paternal grandparents had colon cancer and everything was fine... Procedure wise he said it?s not a big deal but I know that is not your concern. He says the prep is the worst (which I have kind have got to witness )

Thanks for the congrats - I was so panicked that neither of them would be good. It is a first step but there is still so long to go ... Even the doc was shocked - I think he was praying at least one would come back good.
