1) The weather is spring like. This is how our winter was for the most part last year and it meant our summer sucked because of all of the bugs that idd not die due to no real cold spells. I do not like ice and snow but I am hoping for at least a few weeks of a real winter.
2) I want to go back to the zoo lights sans kiddo.
3) The last time A saw Ky she acted like a complete stranger towards her and she has not asked to see her since...I figured this was coming but I do not like it.
4) I have no clue who my supervisor truly is and the time off request I sent to the three canidates has not been replied to...
5) Due to the supervisor change my desk will be moving. Yesterday I spent a good hour and a half cleaning, organizing, and shredding stuff I do not need so I have less to move.
6) Teaching a two year old manners is fun. Ky farts. Me: Ky what do you say if you fart. Ky: I farted! Me: No, you need to say excuse me. Ky: Oh, scuse me mommy I farted! *sigh* close enough right?
7) I have zero motivation for work today.
8) I let my kid splash her hands and feet in the kitchen sink with water and a bit of dish soap for bubbles while I cleaned up after dinner and packed lunch...it was awesome to get so much done without a toddler underfoot. She was so excited about it she asked me if she could do it again this morning.
9) My job is stressful, not in a traditional under pressure stress sort of way but a people I talk to on the phone hate me sort of way.
10) I feel the need to go shopping on my lunch break...
1. Emotional late night last night (sorry to be vagueish - all is well at home) - has me exhausted and showing signs of crying before bed. Which is a nice look.
2. Scones are not enough for breakfast. Maybe I should stuff them with an egg or bacon.
3. Coming up on a big family action - see #1. Wish me well even though I am being dodgey about the details.
4. We just realized that since we are taking off the 26-28, we will have 11 days off in a row. Ahhhh....
5. Making an egg bake thing in the crockpot today. I hope it turns out. Anyone want the recipe if it does work?
6. I must bring my pour over coffee thing to work. Mmmm...fresh coffee at work.
7. Our E has a viral respiratory thing. They do not think it is RSV, but of course we are worried.
8. We made yummy shrimp orzo salad last night and have leftovers for lunch. YUM!
9. Anyone else interested in a New Year'S resolution thread in a few weeks?
10. #1 has got me spinning. Which makes me think of Jack.White's "I'm.Shakin'" remake...check it out - very catchy.
1: this is my first post postintroduction and I would like to start being more active and getting to know everyone as I've been a lurker for about a year!
2: my wife and I are in our first TWW 5dpo she is carrying and the waiting is driving me nuts
3: I should be studying for school right now but instead i'm on this board because I can't think of anything that's not ttc related... See 2
4: does this waiting get easier over time?
5: I'm looking forward to Christmas... We are flying home to Portland/Seattle to see family
6: I think I will try to finish Christmas shopping today. I'm doing most online so I do not need to take it with me on the plane
7: coming up with a full ten points is harder than I thought it would be :
8: I haven't really exercised since we moved here months ago because full time work and school.
9: I'm trying to get up the nerve to run today
10: I'm excited to post more and get to know all you wonderful people :
My name is A, I am wife to J. After 7 months of ttc and one MC, we are expecting two baby girls in 2014!
1. I think we need to bring out the Christmas decorations this weekend so that our house has a bit of cheer.
2. K needs to quit her job ASAP.
3. #2 requires her finding another job ASAP.
4. This pregnancy is totally different than my first. I don't feel well and I'm tired. I hope this improves at the end of the first trimester. Because really, after my first pregnancy I never wanted to be the person complaining about feeling like crap.
5. I'm wearing maternity pants for the first time today. That's right, 9wks and I'm into my fat pants. lol!
6. #5 is mostly due to the fact that they only time I don't feel like puking is when I'm eating. So although I tend to chose healthy stuff I'm eating way more than I ever have in my life.
7. Jelly Bean is starting to 'get' Christmas and was so excited to meet Santa at the pet store this weekend (we didn't go there for santa, but since he was there, she and the dog took their picture with him).
8. Two of my coworkers are out with the stomach bug so another coworker spent the morning cleaning everything (door knobs, light switches, the kitchen, etc). I appreciate her attempt at keeping us well.
9. Friday can't come soon enough.
10. If I can figure out my wife's exact work address I might just send her flowers today.

1. My 6y olds have taken to singing "Hey, sexy lady..." so graciously taught to them by a classmate who has 2 older brothers. Thanks, kid.
2. I love this warmer winter weather. We walked around our neighborhood for 30m last night looking at lights - without coats.
3. I am leaving early today so I can get the kids and get home to meet the guy who is coming to install the blinds. YAY! We have needed new blinds since we moved in and especially since a couple of toddlers took to bending/breaking them.
4. Carter fell out of bed last night at 1am and then it took me forever to go back to sleep. Didn't wake him though.
5. It looks beautiful outside. Sigh.
6. I took Dec 27 off so L and I can go see Les Mis while the kids are in camp. I am ridiculously excited to see it. It is going to be fun and strange being able to recite 90% of a movie that I have never seen. Maybe they need to do a big gay sing-a-long screening. How fun!
7. I love how excited the kids are about Christmas. They are true "believe" mode and are loving every aspect of the holidays.
8. I need to figure out what to buy my father for Christmas and his birthday ASAP.
9. Kids are 99% done - need to order the stuff from my dad and get a couple of stocking stuffers from the dollar store. L is almost done, but need some stocking stuffers for her too.
10. If you have seen my motivation, will you please send it back to me?
1. I'm bored. I thought it would be awesome not worrying about going into the field and just working from home but now I am deprived of adult interaction.
2. Third tri nausea, exhaustion and swelling have set it. I wish I could nap right now even though I just woke up 3 hours ago.
3. Only 20 days til Christmas Eve, holy cow!
4. Is it sad it's 9am and I have brownies baking?
5. I think the boys are hitting a growth spurt. I'm way more tired than normal as well as feeling stretched to the max.
6. The last few pieces of gear I wanted for the boys has been shipped and I feel great knowing we have all the big things we need, plus enough clothes. The only thing we are missing are more crib sheets as I planned on making these. I will probably order them offline as we get a bit closer.
7. I really want the weather to cool off outside. These high 80's are a bit ridiculous and I am tired of hearing about record breaking highs. Especially when we had such a mild summer.
8. I am starting to gather recipes and make lists for things to put together for frozen dinners. I am hoping these will be able to carry us through the first 3 weeks of the boys arrival.
9. We are at right about 60 days left and I am starting to freak out about are we ready for this. M just smiles and me and hugs me. She will tell me no matter how much sleep we are about to give up, sanity out the window etc we are as ready for this as anyone else.
10. I need to finalize some sponsorship information for some promotions at work. I hate this aspect of my job as I feel like I am asking for free stuff. When in fact I am asking them to trade advertisement for free stuff.

1. Thinking of kershnic. It can't be normal to be stressing more about her beta than I am about mine. Sending you good vibes, girl!
2. I'm SO tired. I'm so unproductive. GAH.
3. We've moved into "baby is here to stay" mode. I'm still freaking out a little, and spotting a bit yesterday didn't help. Still, we're making house change plans.
4. I have no idea what I'm having for lunch today.
5. I need to get waaaaaaaaay better about packing my lunches.
6. I can't wait to get our Christmas cards in the mail! I want to send them out already.
6. My SIL finally apologized 4 years later. I know it was forced but I hope we can move on. I have to see her for the first time in four years on the 16th.
I am so glad you got that. I know it was such a painful thing for which she is only now apologizing. I hope her (forced) apology helps you to heal if possible.
Well, I don't usually take the time to stop and think, so we'll see how coming up with ten things is. Hopefully not too hard since I tend to ramble ..
1) We're pregnant! Still can't believe it.
2) It's only been 4 days of knowing and I am seriously doubting my ability to keep a secret for less than a month.
3) Scared of having a miscarriage after all of the excitement we've gone through since it's so early.
4) Trying not to panic.
5) Put together a playlist of lullabies/songs for the baby.
6) Wondering just how much my partner has already gotten for the baby (last night she showed be several outfits she bought before we inseminated).
7) We thought of a theme for the baby's room, now we just need to look into how to do it. Baby animals!
8) Worrying if DP will be covered by Aflac because the effective date is the 21st and we inseminated on the 19th and the 21st. If she is pregnant before the effective date she won't get any coverage for the pregnancy.
9) Not looking forward to the cold that's coming (weather guy said it might get to -10 next week, ugh!)
10) Oral surgeon appointment tomorrow (consultation), hoping they are able to get me in for the actual surgery before the end of the year in case any of the cost is covered by insurance.
1. Work is really emotional exhausting. My boss is abusive. This makes me unendingly sad.
2. #1 deserves at least 2 spots.
3. S and I have really put off a lot of things regarding this pregnancy, decision-making, and preparation. I find this funny/odd due to how much time we spent TTC and how long I've been thinking about the whole process (I was a Birth Doula way back in 2004-2006 and have wanted to give birth since way before then).
4. re: #3, S and I finally had some time to sit and talk a bit this past weekend and have laid the groundwork for progress. We have a Doula interview scheduled for next week.
5. The Doula we are interviewing is a former client of mine (as in, I was her Doula way back in 2005). I have conflicted feelings about this and have been considering posting about it for everyone's feedback/thoughts. I'm still considering.
6. I'm so excited for all the TTC activity on this board lately. I'm especially excited for the BFP's, of course, but it's also lovely to have more people actively in the TTC process.
7. The cold that I thought was gone has simply taken up residence in my lungs. It makes me nervous as I've already had Pneumonia 3 times and REALLY don't want it while pregnant.
8. I really should be a more active participant on this board.
9. I failed my 1-hour glucose test yesterday. I'm still in a bit of shock.
10. Yeah, between #'s 1 and 9, I'm overwhelmed. And more than a little nervous/sad/stressed.

JGY - are you a doula too?
1. I'm going to follow TT's advice and post a second/updated AW post seperately.
2. Today has been BUSY.
3. We're getting legally married in 5 days!
4. We're no longer going downtown for the ceremony. We're having a friend officiate and it will be either at a nearby beach (if it's not raining) or at our home. We're inviting a few of our closest friends and it should be intimate and fun.
5. We went looking for a dress and after a bit of effort I got a Calvin.Klein dress from Ma.cy's for $19.30 (originally $90)! Ridiculously excited, especially because i didn't want to spend a lot on something I may wear once/rarely (not because I don't like it but because is not maternity friendly at all).
6. I need to order some food and cupcakes (a riff on our wedding in '07) and get some sparkling cider.
7. This week is super hectic playing catch up from the birth and prepping for guests and an event.
8. My wife is so cute and funny. I love her more right now than I ever thought I could.
9. I should get to sleep!
10. Looking forward to posting in the Wed tomorrow on the other side of ttc.
