And are they still napping?
I think DS is maybe working on giving up his nap and I'm thinking about making bedtime a little earlier to compensate. He usually goes to bed at 8.30pm. Days he doesn't nap we've been pushing it back to 8pm. He also used to sleep later in the mornings than he is currently though (in addition to taking a nap as well, *sigh*) so I'm thinking about potentially pushing it even earlier. Thoughts?

Ugh, same here. I don't know what to do about it! Probably half the week he naps without issue, the other half he seems like he needs it, but refuses it completely, but... I don't want to give it up completely and obviously I don't know which days he'll sleep and which he won't so I still try everyday. Incredibly frustrating! I'm thinking about trying to figure out a way to get him to cooperate with "quiet time" at the very least. I have no idea how I'll do this, of course.

We are having more and more days where she takes forever to fall asleep (as in, I put her down at 1 and she falls asleep at 2:30...), but she will at least stay in bed quietly and not get up. I've been trying to come up with ways to wear her out in the morning so she's ready to crash after lunch, but with the cold weather it's getting harder!

DS still sleeps 7pm to 7 or 8am with an hour to two hour nap every day.
DD1 stopped napping completely at 5 years and started sleeping 11 hours at night then. At 4 years she would nap at daycare but not on weekends. She pretty much always slept 10 hours at night until she stopped napping.

DD gave up napping as soon as she turned 2. It SUCKS! I tried everything. We've now settled on quiet time in her room for 2 hours... it's been working. Her bedtime is 7:00 and she's usually out by 7:30. She wakes up between 7:30 and 8:00.
DS still takes a 2 1/2 - 3 hour nap. His bedtime is 6:45 and he wakes up around 7:00.

I feel kind of fortunate, my ds goes down at 6:30 and when he can sleep in he sleeps until 7ish. He also takes a two hour nap...but to be fair I have to wake him during the week so that we are out of the house by 6:45 a.m. so he needs all the sleep he can get.
Some days he naps. The days he does he tends to go to bed later--around 830. The days he doesn't he usually crashes by 7pm. Wakes up around 630-7am regardless.
I don't force naps (or try to make them go away completely) because some days are busier/more active than others,

My son goes to bed around 8ish. We go upstairs at 8, but by the time we read and rock him to sleep it may be 8:20-8:30 before he is alseep. He normally sleeps until 6-6:30, but the time change is messing with him right now.
He does nap...every afternoon from like 1-3.
If your LO doesn't seem to want to nap anymore...I would try an earlier bedtime just to see what happens. What will it hurt?
Good luck!

He's in bed around 7:45 and usually takes 20-30 minutes to fall asleep (sometimes longer). He wakes around 6-6:30 and takes about a 1.5 hour nap.
I'm pretty sure this will all go to hell when we move him to a bed in the next few weeks, though.
This is exactly our toddler.

Both nap from 1-3. I hear DD fall asleep sometimes as late as 2 but I wake her up when her brother wakes up
they both go to bed between 8-8:15 but I hear her up until almost 9.
DD is usually in bed by 745pm and sleeps until 6-630 most days. I never let her sleep past 645-7 because then for sure she won't nap. As it is she's been skipping naps here and there (which sucks because it is usually on days when I plan on doing something during that time, usually that is cooking dinner for the night).
she naps for about 1-1.5 hours when she does nap, although at daycare she has had a few days where she won't fall asleep until 1 and I pick her up at 115-130. I generally don't let her sleep for more than 1.5 hours unless she is feeling sick. I would like to have her in bed by 7 but with two teenagers at home (nieces that live with us) and their schedule it is hard to get dinner on the table before 630 most nights and family dinners are important to us. Lately she has been falling asleep pretty quickly once she is in bed. Sometimes she lies in her crib singing for a good 30 minutes before finally crashing.
