Help with Boy Names--ideas?

I can't believe I'm posting one of these, "suggest names!" posts, but why not? DH and I still do not have a boy name at all and I have a c-section NEXT WEEK (breech baby). We have no family names we're especially trying to use. 

DD is Katherine Rose (Katie) and DS is Evan Joseph.

I was looking for a boy name that is "normal"/semi-traditional/not super trendy, but yet a little more updated and modern sounding than most of the old classics. 

I liked:

Spencer, Leo, Miles, Tyler, Chase, Austin, Thomas (Great names!!! DH vetoed nearly all)

DH likes:

Max(well) (but doesn't go well with our last name, which sounds like "KAZ.mur.zak" 

Jack (ditto on last name) 

The only ones in play at all are MAYBE Leo and maybe Thomas; I just don't think I can do Max b/c of the last name issue. We are not sold on anything. We certainly haven't gotten as far as MNs yet, either.  Help!

    Since your DH seems to like that spiky Z/X/K sound, maybe try something that uses those letters without the short a of your last name (like Dexter or Ezra). Other suggestions: Seth, Levi, Caleb, Blake, Luke.

    But I do love Leo.

    With Katherine Rose and Evan Joseph, I would vote Benjamin Thomas. Other suggestios: Reid, Carson/Carter, Owen, Andrew

    Winston, Sheldon, Owen, Andrew, Steven, Grant, Everett, Aidan, Clinton, Travis, Jacob or Jake, Shaun, Darcy, Brian, Casey, Quinn, Fritz, Anthony, Glen, Keegan, Lachlan, Percy? I hope you find the perfect name.
    TTC since 2004, Ectopic 2005, lost right tube. Multiple miscarriages. Baby girl born June 2013.

    THanks! These are good ideas. I also do like Owen (DH vetoed), we considered Carter but it's too many "hard" sounds with our last name, and I do like Benjamin, but more as a middle. I have a cousin named Benji and a cousin's child named Ben.

    One of my friends has a Katherine Rose (Katie). Her second daughter is Elizabeth Jane (Ellie). Their boy name was Partick, Maybe Patrick Thomas?

    I also think Nicholas or Andrew (Drew) would be nice with your sibset.

    The last name with Max would be a tongue twister for sure.  I like Thomas and Miles with the last name.  And I think Thomas goes well with the siblings.  What about Samuel?

    Being that Katherine and Evan are the names of your other children I would stay simple with baby #3 as well. I think Thomas is great, but you could also do Nathan, Owen, Charlie, Joshua, etc
