DS starts therapy this week...... Also Auntie ?

I am nervous but also looking forward to it. I want him to get the help he needs. Also to learn how to help him more.

Auntie,

Do you have any advice? I am not 100% sure what to plan on happening when we are there.

    It took DS1 almost a month to warm up to her therapists.  Give it time, if he doesn't seem to get along with them right away just wait a few weeks.

    There are going to be good sessions and there are going to be really bad sessions.  Don't freak out.  They're kids.  They're allowed to have off days and they're allowed to have a bad session.  I know it's hard to know what you're child is capable of and to hear a therapist say things that are only true of that 45 min because it's a bad day.
