All day, I was anxiously awaiting the results of this morning's Beta #4, but I
won't be getting them until tomorrow morning. Apparently there was a
fire at my RE's office, and they got no results at all today. I have to
have my bloodwork re faxed in the morning and the nurse swears she will
call me first thing in the morning with the results. Crazy right?
I don't know any details about damage or anything, the nurse really wasn't supposed to tell me what happened, but I feel terrible for anyone who was having a procedure done tomorrow or today. Hopefully they have some kind of backup location. They have a 2nd office but I don't think they do surgeries there.
TTC since 3/2010. Me 41, DH-49. After 3 years, 6 IUIs and several IVFs we have finally have our beautiful baby girl, born on 11/7/13.

Over-40 parents...what we lack in vigor, we make up for with cunning.
Yeah, that is what the nurse said, but she didn't give me any details. I monitor at a local place so I don't go into this office at all, just for my ER and transfer. I was trying to search on line for info about a fire in that area but I couldn't find anything.
Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for my Beta results this morning and trying to be patient...

Ditto Hijoi. Plus with the fire, they may be crazy busy with all that's going on (not to say they'd forget about you, but....).

Ha, you guys are very funny! Thanks for caring about my beta #. I got the beta #. It's 2402! So still going strong!
I actually called a girl I know from my local monitoring place and got the number from her. I normally wouldn't ask her to give me the info she isn't supposed to but this was a special circumstance...It's a good thing I did because the nurse from my current RE called before and said that she couldn't receive a fax, and she couldn't get a real person at the local place so she was pretty happy that I had gotten the number.
The best news is, first ultra sound tomorrow morning!

TTC 10/11. IUI 2/12. BFP 3/8/12. 4/26/12 missed mc. RE consult 5/17/12. IVF #1 ER 7/13/12 53R, 41M ICSIed, 32F, 8 5d, 6 6d blasts - all PGD/frozen. PGD results 1 normal M and 1 normal F, 1 maybe M. FET 9/6, transferred 1 F embie. Beta 9/15 BFN. FET#2 planned for 11/2012 put off until 2013. Surprise BFP 11/21/12!! My son was born on 7/24/13!
