Mobile: How much do you spend
on a haircut? I hate the options around me. I either go to a barbershop (which does do women's, they're just the minority), or a chain, and spend maybe $20, but I don't like anyone I've seen and don't think they "get" my hair (which is a PITA). Or, I'm looking at a full-blown spa where it's $50+, and I don't know what the result would be, and be annoyed if I don't like it. I don't want to waste that much money.
Just wondering what the norm is - only cut (or cut and style), not coloring or anything like that.
Re: How much do you spend
$40 plus a $5 tip.
My lady cuts out of her home. I'm thinking of changing though. If I do, I'm prepared to spend $50+ for a good cut.
Haircut? What is this haircut of which you speak? I haven't gotten mine cut since I went into basic in 2010! Eek! Way overdue.
For fancy cuts, I spend around $40 plus tip. For regular reshaping the layers and getting split ends off, around $25. But I don't do anything special.
Same for me. It gets expensive when you add product and a tip!
Is there a university around you? I know we get coupon books for CU which has a salon type spa in the student center! Usually it is less expensive and the beauticians are well trained.
