Just laying on the sofa after a long day of work being lazy and pregnant (my new favorite thing) and wondered what ya'll thought about the name Linley.

Saw it on FB one time and it sticks to my tongue like glue- I hate saying it. :<

Linley Park is a housing development with a pool that we used to go to we I was a kid so I think of that. Linley, not good! It does sound like Lindsay while eating peanut butter.

Lindley is a male family name for me. I think it started as someone's maiden name handed to a son. Now we have 3 guys with it as a fn or mn. I love love it and would use it if I could.

Linley is a GP of mine. FH quickly vetoed it, just as I vetoed his suggestion of Winry. Ultimately, I concede that it just feels too childish, even though I've met a Linley who was in her 20's, I can't see it growing up well.

It seems more suited for a child than an adult. I can't imagine meeting an adult named Linley. If it were a family name, I would give it a pass, but in general, I don't really care for it.
