XP: SleepEasy and standing in crib

I posted this on 6-9, but I thought maybe those of you with older babies would have more experience with standing in the crib. 

 For anyone who did SleepEasy Solution...

We successfully used this method with our DD and she has been sleeping like a dream since 5 months. we don't even have to do check-ins anymore. She can now pull herself to stand in her crib and will cry standing up. I've waited for the check-ins to go in and lay her down, but 10 and 15 minutes seem like an excessive amount of time to wait and let her stand and cry because she is standing and not settling down to sleep. 

Anyone else been through this? Suggestions?

    Hi - my baby is 9 months and he did this when he was first learning to stand.  It only lasted about a week but it was terrible!  He needed to learn how to get down on his own.  I think once the excitement of standing wore off he stopped.  He still wakes in the night and cries - but its not due to the standing.
