MIL:"So I started having womanly problems. I took a shower to clean. Then I used some monistat...but it started burning REALLY bad. Does that stuff expire?"

Me:"umm, yeah how long have you had it? You should deff look for the expiration date !"

MIL:"I can't remember. Hold on let me
see if I can find it"

....long pause....

MIL:"oh lord, it says Feb 2010.."

    poor lady! My MIL would never discuss anything like that with me! My mom on the other hand, would have been even more descriptive..

    Why is your MIL calling you about this? She doesn't have a daughter or lady friends or a doctor? Ewwww, I would freak out if my MIL started discussing her lady bits, especially lady bits with gross issues, with me.

    1) We are very close. 2) We are a very open family. I have no problem talking to her about stuff like this. Plus, she wasn't very graphic.

    But, I actually felt a sense of pride that she called me and not SIL, that's a +1 for me! (I do not like SIL) And as for a doctor, she called at like 7 at night.

    I'd drop dead if my MIL ever did such a thing. But we don't care much for each other and she's well ummm pretty nasty to begin with know that she's nearing elderly.

    Yeah, my MIL is only 40.
