Molar Teething

Kaiden is working on a few teeth, one is a lower molar. One sharp corner poked out a few days ago, but now it's swollen, like bad swollen. Probably the size of a dime. Normal?

DD was such an easy teether compared to K. She'd fuss for a few hours and have a new tooth. K takes weeks, so this is uncharted territory.

    Poor guy. I have no idea if that's normal but it sounds really painful.

    I've got a weeks long teether, too. I feel your pain.

    DD2 had lots of swelling with her molars. So much that one day I could see half the tooth and the next her gums were so swollen it was covered again :( We are finally pulling out of it, but it's taken about 2 months.

    ETA: 2 months for all 4 of them to come in, not just one tooth :)

    I figure that's why he was having such a rough night. I've drugged him up. A Popsicle is a good idea.

    A's gums get super swollen with his molars. He has two and is working on the other two. And yes it takes weeks for us here too. His gums look so swollen and painful. I feel so bad for him.

    Teething is the worst - I can't imagine the pain they are going through.  Owen's gums were extremely swollen also, and white.  I've noticed once they break through the pain tends to let up a llittle - or at least the crankiness does!  Hang in there, mama!

    Kai's gums got really swollen with all his molars and he actually got little teething blisters too,  it was awful.

    Halle hasn't gotten the blistered but hers are all really swollen and she isn't sleeping so I am hoping they finish coming in soon!
