Babies: 6 - 9 Months

FF Question - Similac Sensitive

My DS is coming up on 6 months.  He has been on Similac Sensitive since 6 weeks old and we have had a lot of success on this formula.

I recently bought Similac Go and Grow for babies 6 - 12 months.  He is having a lot of gas and fussiness so I'm wondering if I should switch back to the formula for babies sensitive to lactose?

I am wondering if he can just stay on the Similac Sensitive?  Anyone have any input on this?

After 15 cycles and 3 rounds of clomid (50mg) we got our BFP.

Are gas drops like gripe water?  Or are they something different?

  • There is no reason that you need to switch formulas. Similac Sensitive is just as healthy as Go and Grow. If I was you I would switch back. You don't want your LO to be uncomfortable.

DD is also on Similac Sensitive.  She has been doing great with it and I never thought about switching.  I would switch back if the other one is causing issues.

  • It is not necessary to change formulas at 6 months.  The Go & Grow stuff is just a marketing thing.  Stick with the Sensitive if it's what works.
