Holiday tips or gifts for Service People

I saw a post in the wokring moms board about leaving gifts for people like your mail carriers or garbage collectors.  I have never done this in my life.  Now I feel kinda bad.  Do you all leave them gifts or anything?  This is my first year with a house-cleaning service too and I'm not sure how to handle getting them a bonus or gifts b/c it's always different people coming.

    We used to give our post-man money, but this year I'm going to consider all the missing packages I ordered as his gifts.

    I never have before, but I am seriously considering giving the Postman something this year. We live in a townhome, so there are the communal-type mailboxes, but he hikes any boxes up the small hill to our front door. And we have had a LOT of Amazon packages coming in over the last few weeks. Granted, he can probably thank us for his great legs and fabulous new muscles ;)

    I'm also toning my postman's legs.  Our driveway is so steep!

    We tip our mailman and our UPS delivery man.
