DH and I decided that we are done having kids which is so the right choice for us. However, I am really going to miss all the excitement of getting a positive pregnancy test, hearing the HB, the U/S, feeling the baby move etc...
Just kinda sad knowing that I will never experience that again.
No real point to this post or anything. Guess I just loved (for the most part) all aspects of being pregnant and giving birth.
Re: If you are done having kids...
Sometimes I get a little depressed about it. Again, I know that its the right choice but having a girl would be awesome (not that I am not happy with just boys) I just wouldve loved to have a daughter and have the kind of relationship with her that my mom and I do.
I thought I was done having kids, when I first got PG with #3, but as I got closer to delivery, DH and I ended up talking more about a possible 4th and I was shocked to hear that he was very open to it as well.
So I think we may have a 4th. We'll see
Carter Robert 7.18.08 | Brynn Sophia 5.24.10 | Reid Joseph 9.10.12 | Emerson Mae 1.27.14
DITTO. And twins run in my family big time, so I dodged that twice, phew.
Wow, you are brave for chancing it IMO.
Maybe if I didnt start having kids so old (I realize that at my current age 33 I am really not old) that it might be different but since we would wait a couple years I just dont think I could do it again. And right now financially we can easily afford the 2 that we have and still do the things that we want and will want to do for them.
Too bad money doesnt grow on trees and we didnt need to sleep since that is probably the one thing that I really struggled with during pregnancy and the first month of having a newborn and toddler at home.
