My coworker just told me he saw a news story this past weekend about a baby who was strangled in a wrap style carrier. He was looking for the story but couldn't find it. Has anyone heard aboiut this? If so, could you post a link to the article? Thanks
ETA He finally found the link if you wanted to see it.

Re: Baby strangled in wrap?
I don't have a wrap carrier but I would feel safe to use one. I check on H constantly when she's in the ergo, I can't imagine the baby strapped to your chest and not looking down and check on him/her.

I have heard of stories of them being smothered in Moby style carriers because their face was facing in on the mom's chest, but I haven't heard of anything lately.
And, FTR, I have a Moby, so I'm not anti-Moby.
That is sad
I have a Moby and love it but I follow the instruction on how they should be positioned and I am constantly checking on him (especially when he was really little)
My thoughts exactly. If it's wrapped correctly it forms a v neck. That's why I'm curious to see what exactly happened.

No clue! My co worker is still trying to find it but no such luck so far. I told him to call the news channel that he saw it on but he said no lol.
This exactly.
