My ex-boyfriend used to be in the gemstone business as in he had hundreds of them and sold them online and to local jewelers. He was also a slob so often times I would find these gemstones under a pile of papers or in other places they shouldn't have been. I used to help him with his business, especially when he was out of the country, and sometimes he would get all sorts of pissed off at me and be a complete azz when I couldn't find one of these that he needed shipped.
Anyway, I inherited a file cabinet that was part of his desk when we split up many years ago. This weekend I pulled out a drawer to clean up the contents and found a bunch of stuff back behind the drawer. Aside from paperclips, and pens I found a 1.5 ct ruby, a 3 ct amethyst, and a 4 ct garnet. I have no idea where he is or how to contact him so there is no way I could return these even if I wanted to. I guess that is what he gets for being a slob and an azz.

OCT 2011 Moms BlogHahaha, that is for sure! I should sell them to pay off my shiny new Nordstrom's credit card. I have not decided what to do with them yet but I have been kicking around the idea of selling them.
