DD2 arrived!

I will type up a full birth story when I can but short story is as follows:

I was 37w4d's and DH went out of town for a super short work trip, about 3.5 hours away. In the middle of the night my water broke! My doula headed over right away. We thought we were going to have a more than enough time for him to get back. Contractions started to get intense about 3 hours later. We decided he should meet us at the hospital. Arrived at the hospital and I was 10 centimeters. DH got there 8 minutes later, started to push and DD2 arrived 4 min later!

Total time in labor just under 4 hours! I had a natural birth with DD1 and this birth in comparison was fast and furious! I'm just so glad that DH made it!

Congrats on your LO and your 2nd NB!

I'm glad your DH made it back in time. I'm very nervous about things like that and having a very fast labor, as my first was under 8 hours. Do you mind me asking how long you were in labor with your DD1?
